HOW TO STRETCH YOUR WARDROBE DURING THESE FINANCIALLY TRYING TIMES
The greatest asset you have is your creativity. The only limitation you have is not allowing your imagination to create new looks in your wardrobe. You probably have a three piece suit, a few jackets, skirts, pants (trousers) and maybe a gaucho (split skirt), a cardigan or two, a couple of dresses and several accessories—belts, scarves, handbags, jewelry, etc.
Now let’s begin to create some new looks.
The suit with skirt and pants
Dressy with silk pants.
Casual with a turtleneck.
Suit jacket or other jackets
Pair with a print skirt, herringbone trouser or gaucho pants.
Suit skirt or other skirts
Pair with blouses, turtlenecks or cardigans.
Suit pant or pants or trousers
Pair with blouses, jackets, cardigans and turtlenecks.
Gaucho pants
Wear with jackets, blouses, turtlenecks or cardigans.
Put cardigans with turtlenecks or blouses
Add a belt to change the look or a scarf tied around your neck or over your shoulders or around your waist.
Wear several necklaces together.
Hang a pin on a necklace or put it on a jacket lapel or on the cardigan.
Use pierced earrings as pins.
Take your little black dress and add the cardigan or jacket or scarf and you have three different looks—jewelry is another option.
Check your closet—do you have a vest? You just extended your possibilities.
Chunky jewelry is another change.
Bring out your old purses and tie a small scarf on to add color or attach a couple of bracelets for some bling.
Lastly—let your imagination run wild using different COLORS, TEXTURES, PATTERNS AND SHAPES.
